Born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri, Michael started singing at an early age, (age 1 is the rumor). His family taught him a song, he sang it in front of a audience, bowed and applauded for himself. He sang in the church choir at age 5, started playing guitar at age 12, and by age 13 he was performing in rock and roll bands. Working in saloons and clubs in Kansas City, Michael was so successful that he ended up buying the club. During that time, Michael was voted Kansas City's
"Entertainer of Year" for three consecutive years. He worked the clubs doing impressions, comedy and singing as well as becoming quite a self-made entrepreneur. Michael found that he had a good business head in the bar business and turned many clubs that were failing into incredibly lucrative venues.
But the "Entertainment Capital of the World" was calling to him. Michael followed his instinct and packed up the whole family and moved to Las Vegas. Following his
lifelong dream of singing, entertaining, and acting, Michael Parrish has generated thousands of fans and receives an overwhelming amount of standing ovations. He is a two-time winner of the prestigious Best of Las Vegas Review Journal Poll, for 2002 and 2003, for Best Lounge Performer - Online. The votes were received from as far away as Barcelona, Spain, Hong Kong, and from almost every state in the U.S. He works throughout the United States for corporate engagements, acts in
movies, ("Play It To the Bone"and "G.P." are two to his credit), appears in television and radio commericials, and does a significant amount of charity events. Michael
is also currently in the studio recording an album of his own original tunes which he will be releasing in the near future.
